We knew it was going to be hot, we knew it was going to be challenging, but we knew it was going to be worth it.

It was busy around the project site each day. In addition to the framing of the library structure, there was a full cabinet/door shop in operation. Once a wall was standing in place, a full paint crew would be on it to paint and stain the material.  During the construction process you would always see plenty of games being played with the kids. in the background.

It’s difficult to prepare for mid-90s with high humidity coming from Utah in February. But the group pushed through the heat and pulled off 13+ hour work days over the next 6 days. Most members of the group had to also fight some type of travelers illness during the week. Despite the less-than-comfortable circumstances, we were able to complete the project as planned!!

Hard work, but so rewarding.
